SCRIPTURE STUDY JOHN 1:7-9 THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD BECAME KNOWN John1:7-9 New International Version 7He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. 8He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. 9The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world John came to testify to the light. Who was the true light he came to witness to? John1:7-9 King James Version 7The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe. 8He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. Who alone and properly deserves to be called the light, for he shines by his own accord and borrows light from no one. MY CONCLUSION John came to bear witness to the truth. The truth is the Light.
